About Cesar Gonzalez

Born on August 31, 1981, in Monterrey, Mexico, I am the youngest of three siblings and had a happy and fulfilling childhood. From a young age, I realized that helping others was one of my greatest strengths, which inspired me to pursue a degree in Psychology. At 19, I had the opportunity to assist my mother in opening a shelter for battered women in a border town in Mexico-a challenging yet incredibly rewarding experience.After marrying my beautiful wife, Cecilia, we started our family and moved to Del Rio, Texas, where I worked for three years at The Amistad Family Violence and Rape Crisis Center. During this time, I received invaluable training in various areas, including Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Sexual Assault, FBI Profiling, and Human Trafficking.Our journey took us next to San Antonio, where I joined the PEACE Initiative to focus on prevention. I had the privilege of educating and training hundreds-if not thousands-of parents and teachers on critical topics such as Domestic Violence, Teen Dating Violence, Child Abuse, Healthy Relationships, and Fatherhood. For a total of 16 years, I dedicated myself to serving those most in need within the nonprofit sector, with helping the community always being my greatest passion.Seven years ago, I made a significant shift from my 16-year career in social work to the real estate industry. While this may seem like a major change, I've always found real estate fascinating and saw it as an incredible opportunity to merge my passion for helping others with the potential for personal business growth. This transition has allowed me to continue making a meaningful difference in people's lives, but now, by helping families realize their dreams of home ownership. Whether it's guiding first-time buyers or working with individuals seeking to improve their living situation, my goal remains the same: to be a trusted advisor and advocate who helps families build a secure future and a place they can truly call home.
